Skiathos

The beautiful sandy beach of Vromolimnos has a taverna, water sports, some of the best sunsets on the island – and a fabulous complex of five villas, two apartments and ten studios, tucked away behind the lagoon just 100m from the beach.  This peaceful location is perfect for sun worshippers who want to capture the very last minute of sunshine before the sun dips below the horizon.

Everything you need is within walking distance. The main road, where there is a supermarket, bus stop and the famous Stathis taverna, is just ten minutes’ walk away up the hill; neighbouring Kolios beach is the same distance.  

Not surprisingly, the accommodation, which has been tastefully refurbished to an extremely high standard, is justifiably popular. The villas are perfectly situated for families, with level access to the sea, and the studios and apartments, whether on the ground floor with a patio and a bougainvillea and geranium-filled garden or on the first floor with a balcony, are comfortably furnished and in our opinion offer excellent value.  Many of our guests, returning year after year to Vromolimnos, evidently agree.

Villas – upper floor

Fully equipped open-plan kitchen separated from living area by counter top; step down to living room with built-in sofas, coffee table, dining table and chairs; French windows on to front balcony and shady side terrace with dining table (ideal for breakfast); washroom (WC only). 

Ground floor

Stone flagged staircase to hallway; one bedroom (double) with en suite bathroom; two further bedrooms (twin); bathroom (shower). All bedrooms have French windows onto terrace and garden, with access at the bottom of the garden to the path leading to the beach.

Air conditioning in all bedrooms, telephone, TV, safe.
