On an island renowned for its beautiful beaches, Troulos is one of the best – a superb sweep of soft gold sand on the south coast of Skiathos. But the village isn't totally tourist-oriented. Surrounded by agricultural land and age-old olive groves, it was and still is, the hub of a farming community.

Successfully meeting the needs of locals and visitors alike, there's a comfortable blend of quite simple amenities in Troulos Bay. Holidays here are divided between that gorgeous shore and the village centre There's a sprinkling of tavernas in both places and a handful of shops in the village, so all the essentials are in place for summer holidays to Troulos Bay. But don't expect discos and karaoke clubs. This is all about lazy sun-soaking days and leisurely table-talk nights.
