Koukounaries is situated at the far south western tip of the island, with rolling pineclad hills and a panoramic view of the beautiful sandy beach, which, a few years ago was voted one of the top five beaches in the world.

Koukounaries beach is a long stretch of golden sand with crystal clear waters. Sunbeds and parasols are scattered along the waters edge and you can enjoy watersports too. The local beach taverna serves traditional Greek cusine and offers light snacks, drinks and ice-cream all day.
