With breath taking views of the azure Aegean Sea on one side and lush green olive / pine clad hills on the other a  walk around this spectacular peninsula on the southern tip of the island of Skiathos will take about an hour.

The beaches and bays in this peninsula are gently shelving, sandy and have crystal clear waters. Most of our villas and some of the hotels situated here offer spectacular sea views. There are many small coves at the end of goat paths which can still be empty in the middle of August!

With only a small part of the road concreted any traffic is usually local, so maintaining a peaceful environment. There are a couple of beachside tavernas dotted around and a small supermarket, which is happy to deliver to those staying in a villa.

Although there is no bus service in Kalamaki, there is a waterbus from Kanapitsa Beach which will take you into Skiathos Town. Buses run along the main island road from town to Koukounaries until approx. 23.00.
