Perched on the edge of the cliff in a quiet part of Oia, Esperas overlools the little fishing port of Amoudi. All 17 houses - originally carved into the rock, have been meticulously restored, preserving their unique architectural characteristics. The character of the houses is complimented by the use of traditional and antique furniture.

The 3 studios, 9 traditional houses, 7 two-bedroom villas and two suites all offer twice daily maid service, air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, hairdryer, fully equipped kitchenette, sitting/dining area, bedroom with double bed (villas have 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom), bathroom with shower, and private balcony with caldera view. An internet link is available at reception.

The swimming pool, like the houses, has been sculpted from the cliff. A pool bar serves snacks during the day, with more elegant dining in the restaurant at night.
