Overlooking the caldera in beautiful Oia and 12km from Fira, Canaves is a superb group of traditionally built houses perched on the cliff edge in a stunning location. Canaves 1 and 2 are two groups of houses, 100m apart, created on the foundations of an old winery(canaves is greek for winery) and offering the highest quality accommodation and service. Both have swimming pools (Canaves 2 has a jacuzzi), both with sun beds, umberellas and pool bar where breakfast can be taken.

All the bedrooms and suites are air-conditioned, beautifully decorated and furnished with exquisite traditional antique furniture. The suites have a living area and all units have satellite TV, mini-bar, hairdryer, safety box, shower rooms, bathrobes, slippers and terraces with superb views. The terraces in the Canaves 2 standard rooms are shared.

Canaves 2 offers romantic candlelit dinners in the gourmet poolside restaurant serving Mdeiterranean and Greek cuisine. There is a daily maid service and room service is available.
