Villa Ilios and Selene is wonderfully situated, 300m above the turquoise of the Aegean on the edge of the cliffs in the village of Imerovigli.  Just a short walk leads from the parking area to the entrance of this smooth-edged, classically restored “Canava”.  With its stylish Mediterranean feel, the villa is classed as a typical Santorini “yposkafa” dwelling.

Guests enjoy views of the caldera, Nea Kamini, Thirasia, and Akrotiri from either of the two large verandas.  The house affords two distinctly separate living areas – joined together by an external staircase.  Villa Ilios and Selene is rented as one property rather than two separate to afford guests the maximum of privacy. On the lower veranda of Selene, guests can indulge in the comfort and luxury of the outdoor Jacuzzi ideal for two persons.

Ilios consists of a compact kitchenette and dining area with large glass doors leading out to the shaded and curtained terrace.  A curved staircase leads down to a comfortable double bedroom with a small en suite bathroom.

Selene is the main living area of the villa, fronted by large glass double doors leading into the open plan living/dining area which is a wonderful place to entertain.  The smooth curves and alcoves and the lighting of the whole interior space add to the unique atmosphere of staying in this property.  A well equipped galley-style kitchen has stunning views over the caldera.  The all-white double bedroom has built in cupboards and the room lights beautifully at night leads onto a dressing area and en suite shower room.

One 5 seat car (third party insurance and unlimited mileage) only is included within the prices for this accommodation.  Also included are a daily refresh housekeeping service (2 hours) and full concierge services on request.  The villa is reached on foot along a footpath – just a few minutes from the closest parking area.
