Santorini

On The Rocks teeters on the edge of the only inhabited volcanic crater in the lovely area of Firostefani.  High above the caldera basin with magnificent sea views and the legendary sunsets Santorini is famous for, this intimate getaway has a delightful pool area with adjoining bar which serves drinks and snacks, all completed by lovely spa area.

The hotel is designed to make the most the views from the private verandas.  Bright whitewashed walls contrast with subtle blues, yellows and greens in pretty fabrics and comfortable cushions inside.

Double rooms are open plan and built into the caves and have a small sitting area.  Traditionally decorated with unique details, all have shower rooms and sea views from the private terrace area.

Superior souble rooms are also built into the rock, and have aview out to the Aegean from the bed, a small sitting area and a bathroom with either bath or shower.  Larger than the standard rooms, superior rooms are decorated traditionally with a light blue colour on the walls and special furniture pieces.

The suites are more spacious and consist of a separate bedroom and living area.  The bedrooms are built into the rock and look like small caves with hand made paintings on the wall above the bed.  Bathrooms have either a bathtub or shower and the decoration is traditional but with a unique touch.  This room can accommodate up to 4 guests.

The honeymoon suite has a bedroom with a queen sized bed and a living room, along with a bathroom with a bathtub.  Decorated in light blue and white, handmade painting adorn the walls.  Curtains and individual pieces of furniture lend to the romantic atmosphere which is completed by the amazing view over the Aegan.

The master suite has a large living room area and 2 bedrooms that can accommdate up to 4 people - the 2 bedrooms share a shower room.  The decoration is traditional with a contermpoary twist, and the room is finished by a spacious terrace which also has a semi-private plunge pool.

The hotel boasts a swimming pool with beautiful views over the Caldera views, a sunbathing area, pool bar serving various drinks and light snacks, Internet facilities and 24 hour front desk.
