Paxos

These immensely popular apartments (three in total) are set amongst olive groves in an elevated position overlooking the sparkling horseshoe shaped bay of Lakka.  The nearest beach is just a five minute and the village a ten minute walk. Also within easy reach from the apartments are several secluded coves.

The family apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished and designed to an exceptionally high standard. The two smaller apartments just below the family apartment are simply designed and more modestly furnished. 

For us the appeal of these apartments is the large terrace (balcony for the family apartment) with it's spectacular views over the aquamarine bay of Lakka.  The terrace brims with fragrant roses, climbers, and colourful potted plants and is a fantastic place to relax and watch the yachts slip by on the glassy water of the bay. 

The family apartment (sleeping up to 4 people) contains a large open plan living/dining area with a working fireplace, and is separated from the kitchen area by a high worktop.  There are 2 bedrooms – one twin with access on to the terrace and a double.  Both have air conditioning.  A bathroom adjoins each of the bedrooms.  There is also a TV available in the living area and a washing machine is located in one of the bathrooms.

The two ground floor apartments each have an open plan living/dining area leading to a small kitchenette (2 rings and mini oven only).  Each has a twin bedroom and a shower room.  One can take an additional person on a sofa bed  while the other has an additional shower room.  Both have air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Owing to its hilly location, on the edge of the village of Lakka, a torch is essential for the evenings, and we would not recommend buggies or pushchairs for small children, as the goat track down to the beach is slightly uneven. The closest tavernas and supermarkets are located in the village of Lakka – and the supermarket may deliver to these properties for a small charge.

Car hire is strongly recommended.
