Probably the prettiest and best preserved village in Paros, Lefkes is a delightful revelation of traditional buildings, narrow streets, small churches, tavernas and cafenions, set at the top of the Lefkes valley with superb views across to Naxos. Just 10k from Parikia and Naoussa and 4k from the east coast, Lefkes is an ideal spot to tour the island.
The Lefkes Village Hotel is situated on the edge of the village, an attractively designed hotel built in the Cycladic style with a large swimming pool, bar and a restaurant with panoramic views. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have a fridge, balcony or terrace and shower room.
The hotel stands in grounds of five acres with its own vineyard, plus fruit, cypress and mature olive trees. Situated in the hotel is the Museum of Popular Aegan Civilization displaying ceramics, metalware and examples of Greek architecture going back thousands of years. The Museum also contains an amphitheatre, a library and photo archives making it a fascinating place to glean an insight into their past.
