Kastraki is a beach resort located 15km from the port and main town of the island. Situated on the east coast, it offers a beautiful sandy beach with crystalline waters and several interesting rock formations can be found here. The area also attracts many windsurfers for the good orientation of the meltemi.

The resort has several beach side tavernas and a small mini-market.
