Built in typically Cycladic style, the Hotel Villa Marandi is ideally situated on a sandy beach, overlooking the Aegean and within easy access of Hora - the islands' main town.

Each of the spacious suites and apartments is fully furnished and completed by large private verandas decroated with pergolas and stone walls.  Each apartment has a breathtaking view over the Aegean to the port and Hora across the bay or views over the grounds of the property..

The gardens surrounding the various buildings of the hotel are filled with sweet smelling flowers together with shrubs such as Bouganvilia.  Areas of fresh herbs - used within the hotel kitchens complete the gardens.

There are just 16 studios and suites at the property.  The single standard studio is perfect for a couple.  8 superior studios sleep up to 4 guests.  There are 4 junior suites suitable for 2-3 guests, 1 family suite for 4-6 guests and 2 honeymoon (apartment) suites for 2-4 guests.

Each studio and suite is fully air conditioned and has a large private veranda and a fully equipped private bathroom (Philippe Starck designed in the suites with hydromassage showers).  Entertainment is provided in the form of satellite TV, cd/dvd player and wi-fi internet connection.  Each studio and suite also has a fully equipped kitchenette, direct dial telephone and in-room safe.

The property serves a rich American style buffet breakfast each morning and all rooms are serviced twice daily.

Within the grounds of the hotel and surrounded by a large paved sunbathing area is the hotel's lovely swimming pool.  This has a hydromassage area and there is a separate children's pool and playground.  Cooling drinks and snacks are available throughout the day from the pool bar, and in the evenings the a la carte restaurant "Asterias" opens for dinner.  The chef provides fresh mediterranean cuisine with fresh locally sourced fish all complemented by an extensive wine list.
