Platis Yialos is well supplied with beach tavernas and mini-markets and has a water taxi service to the famous Paradise and Super Paradise beaches, as well as Agrari and Elia; it is also possible to walk to Paradise beach around the headland.   There is a regular bus service to Mykonos town, 3.5km away.
