Located in the picturesque village of Aghia Efimia, the Kefalonia Bay Palace Hotel is built in the style of a large amphitheatre on the hillside on the very outskirts of the village.  Recently built (in 2010), the property features a selection of comfortable guest rooms that offer stunning views of the Ionian Sea. High quality services and facilities are featured at the hotel to ensure guests enjoy their stay including an outdoor swimming pool and a full-service spa where guests can unwind in the sauna, steam room and spa tub or avail of beauty treatments and massages.  Guests can also take advantage of Wi-Fi provided free throughout the hotel and can dine at the excellent restaurant on site or sit down and relax in the cosy lounge and bar.

The hotel features 44 guest rooms that occupy the main building with a choice of standard or deluxe double rooms and junior suites available.  There are also 6 villa style apartments that offer even more space and luxury and come with their own private pools.  All of the rooms feature modern amenities and comforts with 24” LCD TVs with satellite/cable channels, mini-bar, high-speed internet, coffee/tea maker, safety deposit box (ideal for laptops), air conditioning, DVD and CD player and a full bathroom with bath/shower and amenities.  The villa style rooms offer even more luxury with additional amenities including jacuzzi bathtubs in the bathrooms.

The hotel features a large outdoor pool for all its guests, situated in the attractive grounds. There are also children’s pools and guests staying at the villas have their own private pool to enjoy.

The resort is situated in a very picturesque location next to the pretty fishing village of Aghia Efimia where guests can relax on the pebble beaches, swim in the clear blue waters or try out of some of the water sports on offer including sailing and boat excursions.  The village is also a lovely place to enjoy a meal as there is an excellent selection of waterside cafés around the harbour and there are enough facilities to provide all the essentials with two well-stocked supermarkets, a bakery, a bank, a post office and gift shops.

The Kefalonia Bay Palace is the right choice for anyone looking for a hotel with great accommodation and quality services that is located in a quieter on the island close to its pretty beaches.  However, owing to its hillside location, the hotel may not be as suitable got guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.  Car hire is recommended for holidays to this property.
