This friendly picturesque town is very popular with the yachting flotillas. It’s easy to see why, with a long harbour and pretty quayside cafes, bars and numerous little tavernas all nestled at the foot of the surrounding mountains.
Whether it's relaxing on the shingle beach or coves, popping over to IIthaka for the day, scuba diving or snorkelling off the crystal clear award winning beaches or quite simply relaxing along the harbour side this is the place to be.
As well as a bakery, mini market and gift shops there are also a few bars, however most people just take it slow and enjoy the evening with a stroll after a good meal at one of the local restaurants.
The transfer time to Agia Efimia from Kefalonia airport is around 1 hour 45 minutes.
