Villa Radamanthis is situated in the pretty village of Sivias, which is around 60 km from Heraklion on the western slopes of Asterousia Mountains.

The entrance to the grounds leads to an open sitting area and a swimming pool (3.50m x 7.00m, 1.30m deep).

On entering the house there is a spacious living room with a fireplace, traditional pieces of furniture,  comfortable sofas, satellite TV (limited English channels), DVD, HI-FI system and a sofa convertible to a single bed.

A stone made arch leads to the dinning area and the fully equipped kitchen (with microwave, percolator, electric cooker, fridge and toaster).

Next to the kitchen there is a bedroom with a double and a single bed and a bathroom with a cabin (having hydro-massage, ham-am, perfume therapy), hair dryer and washing machine.

Wooden stairs lead to the first floor where there is another bedroom with wooden floor (ondas) with a double and a single bed and a terrace tidied up to a garden  which offers a great view. There is also a/c (cooling-heating), safe box and electric iron.

The lovely village of Sivas has a small number of little local tavernas, a butcher and a small mini market all featured around an attractive little village square. These are all within 500 metres from the villa. The next village is Kamilari, about 3.5 kms from Sivas - again here there are small tavernas, mini market and a small gift shop.   A wider choice is

available in Matalia, Mires or Tympaki - the closest towns to the villa.   The beach at Kamilari is a beautiful sandy beach and is around 6km from the villa. There are also the archeological sites of Pheastos and Gortys which are within easy driving distance.

Heraklion and its airport are 60km from the villa and the port of Rethymon is also a 60km from the property.

Although not essential, car is highly recommended to appreciate the local area.
