Villa Kamilari is located in the centre of the village of the same name, and although constructed originally in 1903, full renovation was undertaken in 2004.

The entrance gate leads into a small parking area and garden containing an open air seating area.

On entering the house there is a spacious living area with in-built fireplace, traditional pieces of furniture and comfrtable sofas which convert into single beds.  There is also a satellite TV (limited english channels), DVD player and hi-fi system.  The living area commands excellent views over the private pool.

A stone archway separates the lounge from the dining area and fully equipped kitchen.

The basement of the property contains a spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed, and a bathroom which contains a hydro-massage, hammam, hairdryer and washing machine.

Wooden stairs lead up from the ground floor to a further bedroom which also has a double and a single bed along with a terrace overlooking the garden area.

The garden contains a reasonably sized private swimming pool, outdoor seating area and built in barbecue.  The garden offers total privacy

The village of Kamilari offers some shops, tavernas, cafenions and mini markets with a wider choice being available in Matalia, Mires or Tympaki - the closest towns to the villa. 

Heraklion and its airport are 60km from the villa and the port of Rethymon is also a 60km from the property.

Although not essential, car is highly recommended to appreciate the local area.
