This villa enjoys complete privacy. The entrance to Villa Epimenidis is into the living/dining area with stone fireplace and traditional furniture, but it is the view of the pool (3m x 7m , 1.3m deep) seen through an archway that draws the eye.

The spacious living-dining room has a large fireplace, modern, comfortable furniture as well as traditional pieces, and a sofa which can be converted to a single bed.  The fully equipped kitchen is also located on this level.

From the living room a hallway leads to a bedroom with double bed (constructed from an old wine press) and single bed. There is also a bathroom with shower cabin (including hydro-massage, hamman and perfume therapy) and washing machine.  An interesting feature is the small glass circles in the floor, which highlight the cellar area below where,  in times gone by wine would have been stored.

A wooden staircase leads to the first floor and second bedroom with double and single beds and a window opening onto the lower of two roof terraces, both with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, and the higher of the two featuring a small pergola.

The house has airconditioning, safety deposit box, iron and ironing board, satellite TV, DVD, CD system and fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, percolator and electric cooker.

The villa is located next to Villa Radamanthis - so the two together would make a perfect choice for two families wishing to holiday together yet retain their own privacy.

The village of Kamilari offers some shops, tavernas, cafenions and mini markets with a wider choice being available in Matalia, Mires or Tympaki - the closest towns to the villa. 

Heraklion and its airport are 60km from the villa and the port of Rethymon is also 60km from the property.

Although not essential, car is highly recommended to appreciate the local area.
