Villa Palladion is a restored Venetian country house, from the 16th century which used to belong to a local Venetian officer. It was fully renovated in 2005 and is now a house which combines the traditional elements with the comfort of a luxurious villa. Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Hromonastiri, the villas is just 11 km from the town of Rethymno and 8 km from the closest sandy beach.

In the village itself there are a couple of tavernas and kafenions as well as a mini market. From the village various walks of the local area are available where Byzantine churches, the Milli gorge and the mountain of Vrisinas can be explored.
 
Villa Palladion is a large property that can accommodate from 8 to 10 people.  On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a living room and a bathroom (bath/wc).  This lower level is completed by is a large kitchen, fully equipped with microwave, oven, fridge, washing machine and a large wooden table suitable for 10 people.

A stone staircase leads to a small veranda with a beautiful view to the Cretan countryside. This veranda is the access to the apartments Erotokritos and Aretousa.
 
Erotokritos ismade up of the master bedroom of the whole property with a double bed with fireplace , a bath with Jacuzzi , shower/wc and steam room (Hamam) and a sitting area.   Aretousa comprises a living room with a mini bar , satellite TV , DVD and 2 bedrooms , both with 2 single beds sharing a bathroom .

The beautiful grounds contain the large private swimming pool, which also has a jacuzzi,  plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, a stone built barbeque and shower/wc.

A car is considered to be essential.
