Originally part of the old deserted village of Aspro Potamos, White River Cottages is a superbly renovated group of thirteen individual studios and apartments. Just 900m from the village of Analipsi and close to the attractive small town of Makrigialos on the south coast, they have been sympathetically restored with local materials to provide high quality accommodation with the addition of a swimming pool, all blending harmoniously into the surrounding countryside.

Each of the studios or apartments are charmingly rustic.  The stable door to each opens to a cosy living area built against the rockface.  All are simply but brightly furnished with whitewashed walls, exposed beams on the ceilings and brightly coloured bedspreads for the inbuilt sofas which double up as additional beds.  Off the living room lies a small kitchen and a simple shower room.  Although not the hiehgt of luxury, this property is clean, well kept, incredibly tranquil and extremely cosy.  The immaculately tended gardens add softness and colour to the surroundings.

There are 3 types of accommodation:

Studios - the smallest and comprised of a single open plan space which incorporates sleeping area, lounge and kitchen corner

Small cottages/apartments - have a double bedroom and a separate living/kitchen area which normally has one built in sofa which can be used as a childs' bed

Large cottages/apartments - very similar to the smaller cottages but have 2 (or more) inbuilt sofas thus making them more suited to families.

All cottages/apartments have air conditioning (hot and cold air), solar and immersion hot water heating, mosquite nets on the windows, an iron, and a hairdryyer.  There is also wi-fi offered free of charge in all cottages.  It should also be noted that these are not fully serviced apartments - although there are regular cleaning and changed of linen every few days, guests are expected to dispose of rubbish in the bins provided - it will not be collected on a daily basis.
