Koutsounari Traditional Cottages is located eight km east of Ierapetra on the south east coast of Crete, at a distance of 105 km from Heraklion Airport. A taxi transfer takes 90 minutes. The complex is separated into two distinct types.

The old part consists of 17 original old stone houses that were acquired from various owners in the 70's and were subsequently restored to their initial glory. Kitchens and bathrooms were added during the restoration to create houses with adequate facilities to reflect an A class hotel standard.

The studio has one main double bedroom and open living room, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower and W.C, terrace or veranda facing the sea.
