Koutsounari Traditional Cottages are located 8 km east of Ierapetra on the south east coast of Crete, at a distance of 105 km from Iraklion Airport. A taxi transfer takes 90 minutes. The complex is separated into two distinct types.

The old part consists of 17 original old stone houses that were acquired from various owners in the 70's and were subsequently restored to their initial glory. Kitchens and bathrooms were added during the restoration to create houses with adequate facilities to reflect an A class hotel standard.

The houses consist of one main double bedroom, 2 single beds in the living room and private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. All houses have a veranda along with a tiny garden. Some of the verandas offer sea views.

The studios have one main double bedroom and open living room, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower and W.C, terrace or veranda facing the sea.

Nakou Village is a small complex of 21 apartments built in 1987 and renovated fully in 2006.   There are 3 types of apartments - 1 bedroomed with 3 singles in the living area, 1 bedroomed with 2 singles in the living area and a studio for 2 people.

All have fully equipped kitchenettes and a balcony or terrace with sea views.

This accommodation is 1.8km from the closest beach and owing to its rural location we recommend car hire for this property.
