Chania, located on the north - west coast, is the second city of Crete and it's former capital. It is a large bustling town that offers a colourful produce market, interesting speciality shops and many sophisticated restaurants and tavernas.

The delightful Venetian Harbour in the heart of the old town, is a hub of activity and a great place to relax and watch the world go. To the west of the town, the coast road runs along stretches of sandy beach and crystal clear Cretan waters.
