The Almyrida Beach hotel is situated directly beside the white washed beach at Almyrida.

It fronts a golden sandy beach and looks out over turquoise seas to the island of Karga. Although it’s in a peaceful spot, it’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the village’s shops, bars and restaurants.

The pool, shaped like a giant skittle, is bordered by a terrace dotted with sunbeds and parasols. There is also a lawn planted with bushy palm trees for extra shade and a bar serving drinks and snacks.

The Almyrida Beach has an elegant lobby furnished with leather sofas and modern lighting. The same sophisticated décor continues throughout the hotel. There is a romantic restaurant which serves Cretan specialities and has an extensive wine list. Enjoy a pre -dinner drink in the inviting piano bar.

All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar/fridge, hairdryer, bath or shower and balcony. Standard rooms have one double and an extra bed.

Bike hire is available (the surrounding countryside makes superb cycling territory) and there is a bowling centre across the road at the Residence.

Chania is located 15-20 km away.
