Alonissos

The old town of Alonissos is marvellous, set back on a hilltop behind Patitiri, which is a walk of about thirty minutes. It is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, stone steps and pretty alleyways. The highest point of the town holds a series of small squares with café bars and tavernas, shaded by mulberry and cypress trees, which command spectacular views out to sea. There is a feeling of peace and tranquillity during the day and a sociable friendly atmosphere in the evening.

It is about a twenty five minute walk down hill to the nearest beach at Megalo Mourtia. There is also a bus service (June - September) which runs regularly and a couple of taxis.

The Old Town Houses are made up of four comfortable and self-contained 2 bedroom villas. They are built with a feeling of light and space. The luxurious interiors have been decorated to a high standard. 

The Old Town villas are 85 sq. metres and each can accommodate between 4 and 6 persons with 2 bedrooms and sofa bed in the lounge. The fully tiled bathroom has a shower cubicle and WC. There is also 2 private verandas are furnished with outdoor lounge and dining room suites, a living room with flat screen satellite TV and CD player and a fully equipped kitchen.
