Agios Dimitrios has the largest beach, which sweeps out from the headland into the dark blue of the channel between the Island of Peristera and Alonissos. With a taverna and a fabulous outlook this striking white pebble beach offers a wonderful place to simply relax and watch the sailing yachts manoeuvring their craft trough the channel.

The main road to the beach is tarmac and begins in Patitiri roughly 15km away. The nearest villages of Kalamakia and Steni Vala are nearby were there are some wonderful fish tavernas.
