Milia, Votsi and Raches
The delightful fishing village of Votsi has very few concessions to tourism and remains a very traditional Greek harbour, with a couple of local shops plus a minimarket or three. By day there is a friendly sleepy atmosphere, by night the tavernas and cafe come alive.
Lazy days can be spent at Rsoum beach or at the small pebbly beach in the bay which has wonderful swimming in the crystal clear water. Or you can while away the time watching the comings and goings of the fishing boats and yachts in the harbour.
There is a road link to Patitiri , the main town, or if you do not have transport, there are local taxis or you can flag down the bus from the top of the road.
Milia Bay in Alonissos, one of the stunning Sporades Islands, is a stunning position where you can enjoy awe-inspiring views of the Aegean sea. This is a very green part of the peninsula with cypress and pine trees with a beach that has crystal clear blue sea. Patitiri Town is just 3 km away from Milia Bay.
On the hills close to Milia Bay is the area known as Raches which contains just a few villas dotted among the olive groves. Despite its seemingly isolated location, the area offers easy access to Milia, Patitri, and Chora - Alonissos Town
